With over 3000 students participating in last year’s Schools Cup, the Wanderers will be aiming to go one bigger for the 2018 edition of the football tournament.

The Wanderers Schools Cup is a round robin football tournament held over Terms 2 and 3 of the school year with the aim of encouraging football participation in a safe and supportive environment.

Schools can enter up to two teams per division and divisions are split by gender in the secondary school competition, whilst the primary school division sees teams either split into single or mixed gender matches.

Last year saw the Primary School division wrapped up at Blacktown Football Park with Mamre Anglican School claiming the victory against Bossley Park Public School.

The Girls Secondary Division saw Westfield Sports High School and Rouse Hill High School go head-to-head in a curtain raiser for the Wanderers Round 3 Westfield W-League match, with Westfield taking out the honours.

Whilst, the Boys Secondary Division saw the joint winners of Mamre Anglican School and Westfield Sports High School due to weather.
