Matthew Acton – Fellow Australian Acton marks his birthday with a new era in his career. The 22 year old Goalkeeper made his trade as Brisbane Roar-s second choice keeper for several seasons before parting ways with the club earlier last month.

Enric Gensana – A star for Barcelona throughout the late 1950s and 1960s Gensana made centre back his own for eight seasons with the La Liga stalwarts. His career highlight was being awarded the player of the tournament for the La Pequeña Copa del Mundo beating the likes of Brazil-s Didi and Garrincha.

Luigi Di Biagio – A constant figure in Serie A throughout his prime in the 1990s Di Biagio was a solid and powerful defensive mid who managed 390 caps in top flight Italian football and 31 appearances across four years as a member of the Azzurri.

Amauri – Current member of Serie A side Parma the striker was unfortunate to miss out on the 2010 World Cup squad despite his fight to be nationalised by Italy in time for the tournament. A strong header of the ball the former Juventus player left his Brazilian heritage behind in hope of making the squad but was dropped in the final cut just weeks before the tournament.

Gaetano D-Agostino – Continuing with Italian players is AC Siena-s D-Agonstino. Despite being a large part of the national team make-up in his youth the once promising centre-mid has since only managed five senior National Team call-ups.

Artem Kravets – Ukrainian forward with Dynamo Kyiv Kravets has shown talent in front of goal with three from ten appearances on the national stage.
