The Wanderers Academy Under 15s will be hoping to continue the club’s run of success in junior tournaments in Japan when they compete in the Suruga Cup in Japan.

In what will be a tough schedule, the Wanderers will play three games against quality opposition in three days during the round-robin tournament.

They will kick off their campaign against Mexican side Deportivo Toluca Futbol Club on Saturday before taking on Shizuoka under 15s FFF the following day (13 October) then another local team Azul Claro Numazo on 14 October.

It was only 10 weeks ago that the Wanderers under 14s did the club proud by making it to the Semi Finals of the Kashiwa Reysol Cup, only to bow out to Tokyo Verde in a penalty shoot-out.

This tournament will provide a wonderful experience for the young Wanderers players, a number of whom also took part in the Kashiwa Reysol Cup.
