Western Sydney Wanderers FC are proud to announce the signing of attacker Mohamed Adam on a two-year scholarship contract.

Adam has been promoted from the Wanderers Academy and has been a force to be reckoned with, scoring 21 goals in 21 games for the club’s National Premier League 2 side.

The Western Sydney product has already featured in several pre-season friendlies, including an appearance as a substitute in the international friendly against Leeds United at Bankwest Stadium as well as providing an assist and scoring a goal in the Wanderers FFA Cup Round of 32 clash.

The 19-year-old striker said he was thrilled to be given his first senior contract at a club he has supported since its inception.

“I feel the hard work has paid off. I am definitely stoked and honoured to wear the Red & Black,” said Adam.

“I have supported the Wanderers from the start, and living in Western Sydney, and watching them play week in and out, the club is very important to me.

“I’ve had a lot of guidance from players like Pirmin Schwegler and Raddy Majewski and the coaches – Markus (Babbel), JP (Jean-Paul de Marigny), Labi (Labinot Haliti), Arthur Diles and Ian Crook. There is a really good support network around me.

“I feel very honoured, it is a childhood dream come true.”
