Australian First: Wanderers launch BrandTURBO Google homepage extension

Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today become the first Australian sporting club to team up with global fan engagement company BrandTURBO to launch a new customised Google homepage extension.

The Red & Black have joined the likes of Fenerbahce, Aston Villa and Leicester City who are all using the platform as a way to directly engage with members and fans in a digital world.

Simply install the new Western Sydney Wanderers new tab extension on the Google Chrome Web Store to get your Wanderers themed page with rolling club imagery, the latest news and information on a daily basis.

The web takeover will have exclusive content, wallpapers and the latest developments about the club in your own personalised Western Sydney Wanderers FC browser.

Western Sydney Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas said the extension was a unique way for the club to engage with members and fans.

“BrandTURBO is another great asset in our digital portfolio and a new and unique way for us to connect with our members and fans,” said Tsatsimas.

“We’re looking forward to working with BrandTURBO as their first Australian partner.”

BrandTURBO CEO Andreas Ruehrig praised with Wanderers for being the first Australian partner for this fan engagement platform.

“We are excited to have Western Sydney Wanderers live with their fan start page powered by our fan engagement platform,” said Ruehrig.

“Wanderers are BrandTURBO’s first Australian partner, setting the pace in one of the world’s most passionate countries for sport. We are looking forward to working together.”
