The career of Wanderers legend Catherine Cannuli will be celebrated at half time of the NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers match against Newcastle Jets on Sunday 2 March.
Cannuli, who is the Wanderers all-time leading goal scorer, announced her retirement late during the recently completed Westfield W-League season and will be presented to the crowd along with her teammates.
With a video presentation and on-field interview passionate Wanderers fans will be able to give the striker a fitting farewell.
There will also be Wander Women in the precinct before the match. As well as being available for photos and autographs, the players will be followed by a camera so that fans can grab the microphone and interview their heroes – with the best questions and answers to be featured on wswanderersfc.com.au!
Make sure you get to the ground at 4pm to participate in the fan interviews and to give Catherine Cannuli a farewell fit for a legend.
The match between Western Sydney Wanderers and Newcastle Jets kicks-off at 5pm at Pirtek Stadium.
