Collister commits to the Wanderers

Western Sydney Wanderers FC are proud to announce the signing of Teigan Collister for the Westfield W-League 2020/21 season.

Collister makes the move to the Wanderers after spending the last two seasons at Newcastle Jets where she featured in over 20 matches.

The 20-year-old winger was a key player in the Jets outfit scoring two goals.

Heffernan said he was delighted to have Teigan at the Wanderers.

“Teigan is a young player already with a lot of experience so we’re looking forward to seeing what she can bring to our Wanderers side this season,” said Heffernan.

Collister said she was ready for the challenge at the Red & Black.

“Moving clubs is always going to bring a whole set of new challenges and experiences but I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to work with some great players and coaching staff to keep developing myself as a player and really contribute to the team," said Collister.

“As someone who played on an opposition team last season, it was great to play in a stadium like Bankwest and I think it really speaks to the professionalism of the environment, so I’m really looking forward to being part of that this year.

“I’m always keen for a challenge and I feel like the set up at Wanderers and the squad that we’ll have, will definitely foster a very competitive environment which is great.”
