Western Sydney Wanderers Westfield W-League recruit Lee Falkon has been called up to the Israeli Women’s National Team to play against Serbia in the Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
Israel excelled in the preliminary rounds defeating Lithuania 2-0, Andorra 7-0 and drew 0-0 with Moldova.
Consequently, the Israeli Women’s National Team were placed into Group 7 for the qualifiers and will now face Serbia, Austria, Finland and Spain.
Wanderer Falkon was called up to the national team and scored in the team’s preliminary clash against Lithuania.
Israel will face Serbia on 19 October at FK Čukarički in Belgrade, Serbia.
