The Red & Black have their sights set on an elusive spot in the FFA Cup Semi Final, but first, they must get past National Premier League heavyweights Sydney United at Campbelltown Stadium tonight.

The Wanderers head into the match filled with confidence after defeating Hyundai A-League Premiers Perth Glory in the dying minutes of their Round of 32 fixture.

Goals from Mohamed Adam and Kwame Yeboah capped off what was a hard-fought performance by the Red & Black away from home.

The pre-season so far has seen the Wanderers play in a number of pre-season matches, most recently, a friendly against Hyundai A-League outfit Central Coast Mariners that ended in a comfortable 2-0 victory.

Babbel and his men will not be taking Sydney United lightly with the National Premier League club currently riding a late-season wave.

After recovering from a mid-season collapse, United just got themselves into the Finals where they have since won three knockout fixtures in a row, including a 2-1 upset win over Premiers Wollongong Wolves last Saturday.

The Reds have played 330 minutes of football in the last seven days and also have an NPL New South Wales Grand Final date with APIA Leichhardt Tigers on Saturday, which will be their fifth match in a fortnight.

The former National Soccer League big guns arrived at the Round of 16 in dramatic style following a 5-3 extra-time win against city rivals St George FC.

With a Western Sydney derby of sorts set to take the stage at Campbelltown Stadium tonight, you don’t want to miss this classic do-or-die battle. Get your tickets here.
