As fans clamour for tickets to see English Premier League giants Arsenal against Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday 15 July, additional Level 1 seating has been installed at ANZ Stadium and all previous tickets on hold are now available for sale.

The blockbusters is tracking toward a full house of more than 80,000 fans.

The Arsenal In Sydney Tour is a joint initiative by Destination NSW – the Government’s lead agency for the NSW tourism and major events sector, ANZ Stadium operator VenuesLive, and the Arsenal Football Club.

ANZ Stadium CEO Daryl Kerry said today: “The Arsenal In Sydney Tour matches are two of the most anticipated sporting events this year and the NSW Government must be congratulated for bringing this tour together.

“We are going to see one of the true giants of the English Premier League against the pride of Sydney football – Sydney FC and the Western Sydney Wanderers – and we are expecting to see massive crowds for both games at ANZ Stadium.

“Arsenal are determined to make their first visit to Australia in 40 years a tour to remember, and the official Arsenal Fan Day and Open Training Session at ANZ Stadium on Friday 14 July promises to be a unique fan engagement opportunity, where football fans can get up close and personal with some of the superstars of English football.”

Gates will open at ANZ Stadium at 6pm for Arsenal vs Western Sydney Wanderers, with the event starting at 7:30pm.

Tickets include return travel on all public transport services. With express trains running from Central and Blacktown every 7-8 minutes, travelling by public transport will be the easiest and quickest way to get to Olympic Park. Major Event Buses will also be running on all routes.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early and make the most of this special event. They should also allow additional time for the security screening process when entering the Stadium.
