The Western Sydney Wanderers will travel to Central Coast Mariners Centre of Excellence on Saturday morning to take on Central Coast Mariners in Round 2 of the Foxtel Y-League.
The Mariners fought back to draw against the Jets 1-1 in the opening round of the Foxtel Y-League after Devante Clut’s spot-kick put the Jets in front.
Central Coast’s equalizer came from Blake Powell who defeated two defenders before shooting from the edge of the box to share the points.
The Wanderers, on the other hand, got off to a flying start in the competition defeating Canberra United 8-0 and will be looking to repeat such a confident result against the Mariners on Saturday.
Abraham Majok was the star of the show, netting a hat trick and grabbing an assist. Oliver Puflett helped himself to a double, while goals from Mohamed Adam, Fabian Monge and Moudi Najjar rounded off the scoring.
