With two rounds to go, E-League analyst, Tyler ‘Gazzalinga’ Gillespie,  has predicted some massive results that could change the finals.

He preview Round 8 in #GazzaPredicts.

Watch E-League Round 8 live from 7pm (AEDT) on Thursday on Fox Sports Digital and the E-League Australia Twitch channel.

Newcastle Jets vs Perth Glory
PS4 –  BLFifa 2 – 4 Saisanas

This tie produces a mouth watering clash of styles as both BLFifa and Saisanas will be looking to pump the ball forward as often as possible and create a multitude of  attacking opportunities.

Given his experience and form, Saisanas may just edge out BLFifa in a game where goals will be aplenty.

XBOX – Hickory 2 vs. Highfly 1

Highfly is yet to find his feet in the E-League and some inconsistent performances mean that this is a crucial match for him. Additionally, Hickory finds himself in a similar situation with only having the one win against Melbourne Victory’s Mitch Austin.

Both might struggle to find the gaps in the defence, but Hickory may come out of this with the W.

Perth Glory to win some much needed points with a  4-5 on aggregate.

Western Sydney Wanderers vs. Brisbane Roar

PS4 – RDoublettt 3 – 1 Ol_Mate_

RDoublettt has been on a decent run of form in the last few rounds of the E-League. However, his opponent, Ol_Mate_ , is yet to prove himself to the doubters despite having shown glimpses of his ability.

XBOX – OhNoAGoat 2 – 1 Cripsy

If all goes to plan, OhNoAGoat will enter this match with a buffer from the first leg, which could see Cripsy have to adjust to the circumstances. Cripsy may develop a more attacking variant, which could lead to gaps for OhNoAGoat to exploit.

Western Sydney Wanderers to continue their winning ways with a 5-2 aggregate win.

Melbourne City vs. Central Coast Mariners

PS4 – Marcus Gomes 2 – 1 KyrenFIFA

KyrenFIFA has shown signs of fatigue in recent weeks, with last week’s late winner against a determined _Ol_Mate_ a testament to this.

However, with Joshingwood stepping away for this round we see Marcus Gomes fill the void on the PS4 division. Gomes playing on both consoles may be a bigger struggle than Kyren would like.

XBOX –Marcus Gomes 3 vs. Strawhat Camels 1

Marcus Gomes is one of the strongest and most consistent performers in the E-League this season and will be far too much for StrawHat to handle if he gets an advantage from the first leg.

Melbourne City to win on aggregate 5-2 and leapfrog the Mariners into second.

Melbourne Victory vs. Wellington Phoenix

PS4 – MouadZwed 2  – 3 Fweshest

MouadZwed struggled to gain momentum in his PS4 match last week against RDoublettt and could face the same struggles this time round against against Fweshest, who will be looking to go back-to-back as player of the day.

XBOX – MouadZwed  2 vs. JustManUTD 1

MouadZwed was able to pull of a surprising victory against OhNoAGoat on Xbox last week and could bring that form into this game against JustManutd12.

Melbourne Victory and the Phoenix to share the points this week with a 4-4 draw.

Sydney FC vs Adelaide United

PS4 – Samer96_ 3 – 3  vDreamz_Shooter

With xMarkoHD away at the FUT Champions Spring CUP, Samer96_ will take control of both consoles for this round, however, this may just work out for him as PS4 is his preferred console.

XBOX – Samer96_ 2 vs. FUTWIZ Jamie 1

Although FUTWIZ Jamie remains undefeated thus far in the E-League, he has suffered more draws than he’d probably have liked coming into round 8.  Samer96_ may prove troubling for Jamie as he is in form and one of the toughest opponents to face in the competition.

Sydney FC to get the 3 points on aggregate 5-4.
