Josep Gombau has named his squad for Saturday’s Hyundai A-League Round 7 match against Wellington Phoenix at Spotless Stadium.

Tickets to the match are still available here.

There are four changes to the side, as Chris Herd and Jack Clisby returning to the squad alongside Socceroo Josh Risdon, with Jonathan Aspropotamitis making way.

The match marks the first home game of the Josep Gombau era after the Spaniard officially took the helm for his first game in charge on Sunday.

The 1-1 against Melbourne City was the Wanderers’ fifth draw in a row and the Red & Black will be relishing today’s home fixture, their first since Round 2.

The Wanderers remain undefeated this Hyundai A-League season and will be aiming to return to the winners circle against a Phoenix outfit who come into the match high on confidence.

Darije Kalezić’s men recorded their first win of the season with an emphatic 5-2 win thumping of Perth Glory on Sunday, with former Wanderer Dario Vidosic among the scorers.

The seventh placed Nix now sit just three points behind the fourth placed Wanderers and both sides will desperate to notch up a second win of the campaign.

The two sides have already met once this season, in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 back in August.

The Wanderers were 1-0 winners in that clash courtesy of an Oriol Riera header at the end of extra time.

The last Hyundai A-League meeting between the pair saw the Wanderers notch up a 3-1 win at Spotless Stadium in Round 23 of the 2016/17 season.
