HAL: Ins & Outs for Sunday’s Sydney Derby

Josep Gombau has named his squad for Sunday’s Hyundai A-League Round 21 Sydney Derby at Allianz Stadium.

Tickets to the match are still available here.

There are three changes to additions to the squad from last week’s draw against Newcastle, with Jack Clisby, Kearyn Baccus and Lachlan Scott all coming into the side.

Defender Josh Risdon will miss out on the match after picking up his eighth yellow card of the season against the Jets.

Sunday’s clash will mark the eighteenth meeting between the two sides, following Sydney’s 5-0 triumph in Round 10 of this season.

The Sky Blues sit 11 points clear at the top of the ladder and come into the match on a three-game winning run in the league.

Graham Arnold’s side however face a short turnaround after playing out a 2-2 draw against Shanghai Shenua in China in the AFC Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Wanderers come into the match on a three-game unbeaten run following Friday’s 2-2 draw against Newcastle Jets at Spotless Stadium.

Josep Gombau will no doubt be keen to capitalise on a travel-wary Sydney FC and claim a first victory at Allianz Stadium since the 2013/14 season.
