HAL: Ins & Outs for tomorrow’s game against Victory

Josep Gombau has named his squad for tomorrow’s Hyundai A-League Round 17 match against Melbourne Victory at ANZ Stadium.

The match is part of a double header, with the Wanderers and Victory meeting in Round 12 of the Westfield W-League at 5:20pm before the two clubs square off in the Hyundai A-League at 7:50pm.

Tickets to the match are still available here. Remember, kids under 16 go free!

Four players have been added to the squad with Chris Herd back from suspension, Josh Risdon and Álvaro Cejudo returning from injury, and Jaushua Sotirio who has been promoted.

Brendan Hamill will miss out on the match after being dismissed in last week’s draw against Wellington.

The stage is set for a typically entertaining encounter between the Wanderers and the Victory.

After the Red & Black’s 1-1 draw in Wellington and Melbourne’s 3-2 win over Perth, the sixth-placed Wanderers sit four points behind the fourth-placed Victory.

With a game in hand, a win for Josep Gombau’s men on Friday night would be massive in the context of the season as they aim to continue their undefeated start to 2018.

The two sides last met in Round 5 at Etihad Stadium where a Thomas Deng goal cancelled out Oriol Riera’s opener to rescue a point for a 10-men Victory.
