Western Sydney Wanderers FC are proud to announce the re-signing of attacker Erica Halloway.

Halloway is set to embark on her fifth Westfield W-League season with the Red & Black, having made 46 appearances and scored seven goals.

In her first season at the club, Halloway won the Wanderers Medal for Player of the Year after a solid season in the heart of the Wanderers attack.

Halloway re-joins the club off the back of an impressive National Premier League Women’s season where she featured in 23 matches for Illawarra Stingrays, scoring six goals.

A leader both on and off the field, Halloway said she was looking forward to another season with the Wanderers.

“This season we’ve got a fairly new team we’ve got a few people that have been there for a few years, but relatively new, new coaching staff and we’ve got the new stadium to look forward to which I haven’t been to yet but I’ve heard it’s amazing and I can’t wait to play there, it’s going to be unreal,” said Halloway.

“Our first home game is at Marconi, last year we played Adelaide and got a win against theme so we’re looking forward to doing that again this year, we don’t know who exactly they’ve got but it doesn’t really matter, we’re going to be ready, we’re in pre-season everyone is fit and raring to go.

“I’m pumped for the season, I can’t wait.”
