Henry Davies, originally from the Blue Mountains, ‘accidentally’ started his career at Springwood United aged six after taking advise from a young friend and has not looked back since.
Having impressed for NSW Metro at the U13 National Youth Championships in 2012, Henry earned a call up to the Football Federation Australia Centre of Excellence Program and the U16 Joeys squad for the AFC Championships, helping them to qualify for the U17s Football World Championships.
Joining the Wanderers Academy, Davies played for the club’s U20s and Senior NPL2 squad before being announced in the Foxtel National Youth League squad in November 2016.
Davies made his NYL debut for Wanderers against Newcastle Jets in Round 1 of the 2016/17 season.
