Ikonomidis joined the Wanderers on deadline day on loan from S.S Lazio until the end of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season.
Capped six times by the Socceroos, the forward returned home having spent the last six years in Italy.
Since joining the Wanderers, Ikonomidis has made an immediate impact scoring two goals and creating nine chances.
