Injury Watch: Tuesday 13 November

In our very first instalment of Injury Watch, we give you an update on the progress of various Wanderers player’s return from injury.

Mark Bridge has been cleared to start running and travelled with the team last weekend to their community match to Mudgee. 

In Mudgee, Bridge completed a pitch session and three intensive gym sessions. 

Similarly, young gun Kosta Grozos has been cleared to start running and also travelled with the squad to Regional New South Wales. 

Grozos is planned to re-join team training in the next two weeks after completing a pitch session and three intensive gym sessions over the weekend.

Youngster Mark Tokich has returned to full team training this week and played 30 minutes in a Foxtel Y-League friendly over the weekend. 

Defender Patrick Ziegler’s running program has been progressing well with the focus now switching to turning and landing. It is planned that Ziegler will return to full team training within the next week. 

Roly Bonevacia missed the Brisbane Roar match over the weekend due to a calf injury and will return to full team training this week. 

While Ruon Tongyik will be out for the next four weeks with both knee and ankle injuries that were sustained before the Round 3 Wellington Phoenix match.
