Josep Gombau has named his squad for Friday’s Hyundai A-League Round 20 clash against Newcastle Jets at Spotless Stadium.

There are two additions to the squad with Álvaro Cejudo returning from injury and Chris Herd promoted.
February has been a perfect month for the Wanderers so far, with Josep Gombau’s men having won two in a row following Sunday’s 4-0 thumping of Wellington Phoenix.
It was a win that has cemented the Red & Black’s spot in the top six, as the Wanderers now enjoy a three-point buffer over the seventh-placed Brisbane Roar, with a game to spare also.
If the Wanderers are to make it three in a row, they’ll have to topple a high-flying Jets outfit who currently sit second on the ladder following their 2-0 win over Melbourne Victory in Round 19.
It’s been a season to saviour so far for Ernie Merrick’s men and they’ll be hoping for a repeat of their 4-0 Round 12 victory over the Wanderers.
