There are seven additions to the squad this week, with Jack Clisby, Brendan Hamill, Steven Lustica, Lachlan Scott, and Abraham Majok all promoted.
There are also call-ups for two youth products in 16-year-old John Roberts and 17-year-old Kosta Grozos who both could make their Hyundai A-League debuts against the Roar.
Meanwhile, Gombau will be without Roly Bonevacia who is suspended, Álvaro Cejudo who is injured and Jonathan Aspropotamitis, Keanu Baccus and Jaushua Sotirio who are both on international duty with the Australian Under-23 side.
The match marks the second occasion the two sides have met this season with Brisbane Roar taking out the honours in the first meeting with a 2-0 victory at ANZ Stadium in Round 9.
The Wanderers will be looking to build on Monday night’s performance that saw Oriol Riera and Mark Bridge both get on the scoresheet to cement a 2-1 win over Melbourne City.
The Roar are undefeated in their last five games against the Wanderers and will be hoping to secure a win at home after losing their last two games at Suncorp Stadium – the last time they went longer without picking up a competition point at home was during a three-game drought in October-November 2014.
