Tony Popovic has named his squad for Sunday’s Hyundai A-League Round 16 match against Newcastle Jets at Campbelltown Stadium.
The match forms part of the Club’s Community Round Double Header, with the Wanderers’ Westfield W-League side taking on Canberra United at 2:30pm.
Tony Popovic has added three players to the squad, with top scorer Brendon Santalab returning to the side after serving a three-game suspension, together with Steven Lustica and Terry Antonis, who is yet to make his Wanderers debut.
Youngster Abraham Majok misses out on the match, while Artiz Borda will serve the second of his three-game suspension.
The seventh-placed Wanderers will be looking to build on last week’s 0-0 draw in Sydney Derby XIV, while the sixth-placed Jets are coming off a 2-2 draw against Perth at home.
The clash at Campbelltown will be the second meeting between the two sides this season following Round 3’s 2-2 draw at Spotless Stadium, where first half goals by Brendon Santalab and Aritz Borda were cancelled out by second-half strikes by Nigel Boogard and Andrew Hoole.
The two sides have met once at Campbelltown Stadium back in Round 20 of 2013, where the Wanderers triumphed 2-1 courtesy of goals from Youssouf Hersi and Mark Bridge.
Remember, entry to Campbelltown Stadium on Sunday is not covered by your Membership. If you purchase a ticket to the Hyundai A-League match you’ll get free entry to the Westfield W-League match.
Kids Go Free is also applicable for this match. When purchasing an Adult ticket, you are also receive free entry for a child. Ticket limit for the match is six per transaction and make sure you select the offer when purchasing tickets.
Wander and Kick is also back, with Members and supporters invited to play on the very pitch following the conclusion of the match.
