Ins & Outs for Sunday’s match against Wellington

Markus Babbel has named his extended squad to travel to Wellington to take on the Phoenix on Sunday.

Markus Babbel’s troops are undefeated in their last four games, including a 4-1 mauling of Brisbane Roar last Friday night.

This excellent run of results has kept Western Sydney’s faint finals hopes alive and for them the mission is deceptively simple: they have to keep winning to close the gap on the top six.

The Wanderers will be without a number of players for the trip to Wellington with defender Tass Mourdoukoutas, midfielder Keanu Baccus and forward Abraham Majok all away with the national team.

As a result, Babbel has also promoted a number of senior players with Nick Fitzgerald, Alex Baumjohann and Raul Llorente all added to the extended squad while Academy youngsters Nicholas Suman, Andrea Agamemnonos and Adrian Valenti have also been added.
