While there have been many intense confrontations between the two clubs since the 2012/13 Hyundai A-League season, Saturday’s first derby of the season at Bankwest Stadium promises to be one for the ages.

Markus Babbel has named a strong extended squad for the occasion with three additions to the Red & Black.

New recruit Nicolai Muller has been named in the side and is set to arrive on Friday morning in Western Sydney while forward Bruce Kamau and defender Patrick Ziegler have both returned from injury.

The Red & Black will still be without Jordan O’Doherty, Radoslaw Majewski and Tarek Elrich who are out with injury.
