Ins & Outs: Sydney Derby

robinson

Head coach Carl Robinson has named his extended squad for Saturday night’s Sydney Derby at Stadium Australia.

Get your tickets to the match here.

The match will mark the first Sydney Derby of the 2020/21 season with the Red & Black heading to enemy territory in Sydney Olympic Park.

The Wanderers will be filled with confidence after a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Newcastle Jets in the Hunter last week.

Defenders Ziggy Gordon and Tate Russell got on the scoresheet in what was the Wanderers first win of the season under Robinson.

Their cross-city rivals similarly claimed three points in their last match with the Sky Blues defeating Wellington Phoenix in the same scoreline thanks to long-distance strikes from Calem Niuwenhof and Luke Brattan.
