Ins & Outs: Sydney Derby

Dean Heffernan

Head coach Dean Heffernan has named his squad for tomorrow night’s blockbuster Sydney Derby at Stadium Australia.

The match forms part of a Sydney Derby double header with the men’s team taking the to the field prior to the Westfield W-League fixture.

The Wander Women enter the game off the back of a confidence-boosting 2-1 win over Newcastle Jets almost two weeks ago.

A double from young gun Rosie Galea as well as standout performances by defender Margaux Chauvet and goalkeeper Courtney Newbon clinched a vital win for Dean Heffernan’s side.

Heffernan has named a full strength squad for Sydney Derby with Nikola Orgill and Aiden Keane promoted to the extended squad.
