Having spent two years in the Football NSW development pathway, Jacoc was picked-up by the Newcastle Jets and made his debut in 2010.
While making a solid start in his first season, it was the 2011/12 season where the box-to-box midfielder really made his mark with a number of barnstorming performances and goals.

Going on to represent the Olyroos while become a Hyundai A-League regular, Jacob became a Wanderer when he signed for the Red & Black on 20 June 2015 and made his debut against Brisbane Roar in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32.
