Making his Red & Black debut in Round 20 of the 2013/14 season when he kept a clean sheet against Perth Glory, Jerrad went on to feature twice more: keeping three clean sheets in as many matches before departing the club at the end of his contract.

The keeper then headed off to Hong Kong where be played for Sun Pegasus despite flying back to Australia to be a guest capo at the Champions League Final. After one season Jerrad returned to the Hyundai A-League with Perth Glory where he made two FFA Cup appearances.

The fan favourite re-joined the Wanderers when his signing was announced on 19 May 2016.

Tyson went on to make seven appearances in his second stint at the Wanderers and signed a contract extension for another season on 8 May 2017.
