Two Wanderers have been part of the Joeys squad that have finished their qualification campaign for the 2018 AFC U16 Championship undefeated.
Defenders Leo Belz and Dylan Craus from the Wanderers Academy were part of the Joeys squad that thumped Vietnam, Cambodia, and Mongolia.
The Joeys scored an incredible 18 goals in Group I and only conceded two goals.
The Wanderers took turns in starting in defence with Craus starting in the match against Mongolia and Belz starting against Cambodia and Vietnam.
Australia topped the Group, three points ahead of Vietnam and now progress along with Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran and Yemen to the AFC U16 Championship that will take place in Malaysia from September – October 2018.
