Katie Stengel

Katie Stengel is a gun centre forward who has succeeded at every level of football she has played in.

Starting her college career at Wake Forest, Stengel won NSCAA All-America selection three times, scoring 50 goals in only 75 games.
 
While at college Stengel was called into the USA U20 National Team, leading the line as the Americans won the U20 World Cup before being called into the senior national team training camp in 2014.
 
Playing for Los Angeles Blues in North America, Stengel then joined Bayern Munich for the 2014/16 season where she won the Golden Boot award for the German club as they won the Bundesliga undefeated.
 
Returning to the USA to play for Washington Spirit, the Florida native impressed in the National Women’s Soccer League before being announced as a Western Sydney Wanderers player in September 2016, making her Red & Black debut against Perth Glory in Round 1 of the Westfield W-League 2016/17 season.

Katie went on to score six goals for the Red & Black, winning the Golden Boot at Wanderers Medal 2017.
