The Club today confirmed that both Labinot Haliti and Jason Trifiro have agreed to new terms as the club prepares for the Hyundai A-league 2013/14 Season and the AFC Champions League campaign.
WS Wanderers FC Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman praised the two local products for their efforts in the club’s foundation season.
“The inaugural season for the Western Sydney Wanderers has been an amazing journey for the players, coaching staff, club, partners and fans.
“Labinot and Jason played an integral part in this journey and contributed to our success in winning the Premiers Plate and making the Hyundai A-league Grand Final.
“We look forward to another successful season from both players.”
Haliti said he thoroughly enjoyed playing for the Wanderers and his decision to commit for the 2013/14 season was an easy one.
“I-m very happy to be staying and playing for the best fans in the country.
“This year has been an exciting one and I-m grateful to the coaching staff who believe in me and under them I can only improve.
“I-m really looking forward to the year ahead.”
Trifiro had a similar sentiment.
“I-m very happy to be staying with the Wanderers, the club that gave me the opportunity to sign my first professional deal, and I-m looking forward to the season ahead.”
