Born in Sydney, Liam spent his youth career at North Sutherland Rockets and Sydney United before moving to the South Australian Sports Institute in 1997 and AIS in 1998.

Liam made his senior debut in 2000 with National Soccer League club Parramatta Power and made his Hyundai A-League introduction in 2005 with Newcastle Jets following a two year stint at Sydney United.

The shot-stopper ventured north with the then-Queensland Roar in 2006 where he would make 66 appearances before crossing the ditch to ply his trade for Wellington Phoenix in 2009.

Despite featuring just 12 times for the New Zealand club, the keeper was shortlisted as one of the finalists for Member’s Player of the Year with a series of strong performances.

Reddy returned down under in 2010 with Sydney FC but lasted just a season before moving abroad to Esteghlal in the Iranian Premier League.

Following his time at Esteghlal, Reddy returned to Australia in 2013 for a reunion with Sydney United in the NSW Premier League but was quickly snapped up by Central Coast Mariners on a one-year deal and would sign a two-year contract extension following a strong 2013/14 season.

After a protracted departure from Mariners, Liam joined the Western Sydney Wanderers on 13 December 2015.

Liam Reddy departed Wanderers on 9 May 2016 following the conclusion of his contract.
