Liz was born in Maitland and played her junior football for Loftus Rovers where she started out as a central defender. In 2013, playing for Como West Jannali, Liz helped the club to their first ever Champions of Champions trophy.
A lethal finisher, Liz played her senior football for Sydney University, captaining the side to the WNPL 1 grand final in 2015 before signing with the Western Sydney Wanderers for the Westfield W-League 2015/16 season.
Liz made her Westfield W-League debut against Adelaide United in Round 1 and scored her first goal against rivals Sydney FC in Round 3 at Pirtek Stadium.
