Majewski finding feet

It was a little while coming but Wanderer Raddy Majewski could not have been happier to score his first competitive goal for the club in Wednesday night's win over Sydney United.

By his own admission, the Polish attacker has taken little time to find his feet and adjust to Australian conditions.

Majewski has shown glimpses of his quality during the Wanderers pre-season campaign but really stepped it up in his dominant performance against National Premier League heavyweights Sydney United.

The midfielder was involved in the opening two goals, had a hand in another in the second half and then got himself on the scoresheet with a screamer late in the match.

"I am happy for my goal but more happy for the win and the performance of the team," said Majewski.

"The team is starting to get to know each other better.

"We were focused against Sydney United and I was happy with how we handled things early in the second half after they scored.

"It was a good win and we are focused on going further in the Cup but, we have to stay humble."

Majewski

Majewski paid tribute to Wanderers legend and assistant coach Labinot Haliti who has been helping him work on his prowess in front of goal.

"I keep training every day and I stay back with Labi after every single training session," revealed Majewski.

"Labi has been showing me some stuff. I am happy for my goal but more happy for him because our hard work is working."
