Western Sydney Wanderers new signing Dylan McGowan is ready to make his mark at the Red & Black.

Having returned to Australia after a stint in the Danish Superliga with Vendyssel, defender Dylan McGowan is confident that he can make a difference to the Wanderers’ campaign this season and it all starts next month against Leeds United.

McGowan has experienced his fair share of success in the domestic competition having won the Hyundai A-League Championship, Premiership and FFA Cup during his time at South Australian outfit Adelaide United.

The central defender is now ready to bring some of that success to Western Sydney over his next three seasons at the club.

“It’s a really exciting time for the club with things like moving into the new stadium and the team the coach (Markus Babbel) is building,” said McGowan.

“I’m looking forward to being a part of that and bringing success to the club.

“Coming back to Australia is the right decision for myself and my family. I have been successful here before and want to be again at the Wanderers.”

McGowan joins at quadruplet of signings made by the Red & Black over the last few weeks with Daniel Georgievski, Pirmin Schwegler, Daniel Lopar and Radoslaw Majewski all set to line up for the Wanderers this season.

The Red & Black’s first fixture of the season is next month when they host Leeds United in their very first match at Bankwest Stadium. You can get your tickets here.
