Having grown up in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Nicole da Silva certainly understands the enormity of the upcoming Sydney Derby.
I grew up on a steady diet of red meat and football. The Wanderers have always been my family’s team so becoming an Ambassador for the Red & Black was a welcomed position.

I love the Wanderers’ spirit both on and off the field. Our on-field results speak for themselves. And off the field, I love the community work the Wanderers do, as well as the vibrancy and enthusiasm of the RBB and WSW supporters.
The Club provides a sense of community and a real cohesion for the many different cultures, age groups and demographics that live in Western Sydney.
With the season starting in less than 60 days, I’m really looking forward to getting back into the summer football season and catching some games at our new home in Sydney Olympic Park.
The Wanderers will be opening the season with the iconic Sydney Derby and I’m sure it will be as electrifying as it has been in the past.
I’m hoping there will be cause for some serious celebration inside ANZ Stadium and that we will be able to sing our team to victory.
The Sydney Derby is already a massive event in the Australian sporting calendar and I hope to see that continue to grow.

You have to be amongst the crowd to truly experience the energy and support for the Western Sydney Wanderers. I hope to see you all there.
