The Red & Black head into the match after a very unlucky defeat to Sydney United last week which saw both Rory Jordan and Tass Mourdoukoutas find the back of the net.
The side can be proud of their positive start to the match but will need to be more consistent and ruthless when it comes to an in-form North Shore Mariners on Sunday night.
Wanderers midfielder Dean Pelekanos has been a shining light in the Wanderers first season of the NPL 1.
Pelekanos joined the Wanderers Academy last season from Blacktown City and featured in every single match of the club’s U20s side before progressing to the first grade team this year.
With both the Wanderers and North out of Finals contention, pride will be the only thing on the line.
North Shore will head into the match filled with confidence after a 2-0 victory against Manly United, extending their undefeated streak to three matches.
The opposition had a slow start to the season and are only one point above the Wanderers on the ladder, but their recent form and run is set to make them a challenging test for the Red & Black come Sunday night.
