The weekend isn’t over yet for Wanderers fans with both the Foxtel NYL and Westfield W-League teams in action today.

With second place on the line, the NYL team will look to re-claim a top two position with a win over FFA Centre of Excellence while the Wander Women travel to Leichhardt to take on rivals Sydney FC.

Following their bye last week, the NYL has a chance to progress up the ladder when they host FFA Centre of Excellence at Blacktown International Sportpark at 4pm.

Entry is free but the talent is plenty with this season’s crop of youngsters some of the most exciting in our club’s history as shown by Mario Shabow’s promotion to the first team last week.

A win here will likely put the Red & Black in outright second position and within striking distance of a position in the Grand Final.

Keep an eye out for: Lachlan Scott scoring goals, Tariq Maia setting them up, Mario Shabow exciting the crowd.

Westfield W-League Sydney Derby

If crowd numbers are any indication, the Sydney Derby is the biggest match in the league: bigger even than the Grand Final.

Keelin Winters

The second instalment of this season’s East vs West rivalry is hosted in enemy territory as the Wander Women travel to Lambert Park to re-claim place in the top four: a position lost after last week’s loss to Canberra.

Kick-off is 4pm.

Erica Halloway Celebration

Keep an eye out for: Keelin Winters running the game from the middle of the park, Erica Halloway making inroads out wide, Linda O’Neill changing the tempo of the game.
