Welcome to the first edition of Player Watch for 2015 – the weekly segment which takes you through what our players are doing during the Foxtel NYL and Westfield W-League off-season.

This allows you to follow how our players are performing for their NPL and overseas clubs while keeping you up-to-date with fixtures in case you’d like to go and watch them live.

Last Weekend

Michael Trajkovski was on fire for Sydney Olympic U20s, repeatedly beating his markers one-on-one and forcing a number of saves in a solid individual performance. Unfortunately for Trajkovski Olympic went down 2-0 to Parramatta FC.

Marconi Stallions U20s defeated Bonnyrigg White Eagles 2-0 with Anthony Schmidt remaining a threat for the entire 90 minutes and even hitting the crossbar.

Keanu Baccus also saw a full 90 minutes in an impressive win as his passing led to a number of opportunities and included an assist in Blacktown City U18’s win over South Coast Wolves.

Sydney United 58 gave Jordan Koton a lot of game time over the weekend as he played a full match in the U18s and an additional 30 minutes in the U20s. Koton set up two goals over the weekend but the games themselves saw mixed results. The U18s defeated Sutherland Sharks 4-2 whilst the U20s lost 3–2.

Richard Darko was out injured over the weekend with hopes that he will return to play soon.
