After making his Hyundai A-League debut for the club last week against Central Coast Mariners, defender Josh Risdon says he is eager to experience the atmosphere at this Saturday's Sydney Derby.
The match will be the first time Risdon will feature in a Sydney Derby having been an outsider looking in during his time at Perth Glory.
"It's always good to watch and I'm really looking forward to it," said Risdon.
"It's my first Derby and I'm really excited for it.
"I've heard that the atmosphere is incredible, the intensity is going to be tough and I'm looking forward to getting out there.
"Hopefully we can get the win."
Risdon said he would be approaching the Derby no differently to any other match in the hopes of avoiding getting lost in the enormity of the match.
"I think if I get too hyped up and focus on how big it is I might lose myself.
"I just want to enjoy it and it's going to be a massive game.
"I've heard lots of good things about the Derby and I'm really looking forward to the atmosphere that's going to happen on Saturday night."
