We would like to invite your school to participate and go into the running to become our School of the Year for 2016.
Schools who enter will be able to earn points through the actions of students, teachers and parents or guardians. Each individual will be able to register for a profile where they can earn points through various pre-set challenges.
As well as various prizes throughout the competition, the school that earns the most points over a set period of time will be crowned Wanderers School of the Year and be invited to host a football expo at your school with all our teams in attendance.

Registration Period
The initial registration period will be open between 9:00am Friday 20 November 2015 and close at the end of Term 1 in the NSW scholastic year Friday 8 April 2016 11:59pm.
Any school that registers before Monday 1 February 2016 will receive 2,000 bonus points.
As an incentive for smaller sized schools we have a handicap points system to create a fair and balanced competition.
Competition Period
The School of the Year competition will run between Monday 1 February 2016 and Sunday 28 August 2016 with the major prize date to be confirmed and announced in July 2016.
The Prizes
There are four weekly prize packs to be given away, each prize pack is valued at $1,000. The weekly prize pack includes the following:
- A free Wanderers Soccer in Schools clinic which includes two Wanderers community coaches, a 60 minute session covering three stations for a maximum of 60 students, this will be coordinated between a Wanderers coach and the school to book in the session
- A football team pack which includes two Wanderers branded portable goals, 10 player bibs, 16 cones and four footballs
The major prize is the money can’t buy experience of hosting a Wanderers football expo at your school to be held in September 2016. The prize date will be confirmed in June 2016. Included in the prize is the following:
- All Wanderers teams in attendance (Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League, Foxtel National Youth League and Powerchair)
- A mini Wanderland precinct with face painters, jumping castles, the Wanderers Official Merchandise van, penalty shoot-outs, soccer tennis, small sided games, Wanderers and partner co-branded signage and the NRMA skill tester
- We will also be giving away lucky door prizes on the day
