The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers will be aiming for five wins in a row when they travel to Suncorp Stadium to take on Brisbane Roar on Friday 22 November with kick-off at 8pm.

Incidentally the Wanderers will also be aiming to make it five wins on the trot against the Roar following a perfect record against the duel Champions in the Club’s inaugural season.

This top of the table clash will be shown live on SBS2, Fox Sports 1 and streamed on wswanderersfc.com.au. To view the live stream please click here (the stream will commence at kick-off).

You can also listen live on ABC Grandstand.

Suncorp Stadium has been a happy hunting ground for Mark Bridge with the forward scoring in both contests at the venue last season including the club-s first ever goal to secure the Wanderers debut win. Shinji Ono has also scored two goals against Brisbane but they both came at Pirtek Stadium.

Brisbane has only scored a single goal against the Wanderers and while the Red and Black have the wood over Brisbane historically, this season the two sides are remarkably similar.

Both teams are first and second in goals conceded, goals scored, ladder position and goal difference. Wanderers and Brisbane also have four wins each though the Red and Black have two draws in comparison with Roar-s two losses.

Both sides are leading the competition in clean sheets and are the only two teams left who haven-t conceded at a set piece this season.

Expect a tense opening to the match with the Wanderers typically strong starters; they have never conceded a goal in the first twenty minutes of a game in their history. This trend looks likely to continue as the Roar has not managed to score a goal in the opening thirty minutes at all this season.

With coverage on free-to-air, Fox Sports, online and radio you can follow the match no matter where you are.

It’s a game you can’t afford to miss.
