Sydney Derby kick-off time changed

Football Federation Australia (FFA) today confirmed that the kick-off time for the third and final Sydney Derby throughout the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 Regular Season has been moved to 6.30pm (AEDT) on Sunday, 25 February 2018. 

Head of the Hyundai A-League, Greg O’Rourke, said the kick-off time had been adjusted following consultation with Sydney FC, Western Sydney Wanderers FC, and the competition’s broadcast partner FOX SPORTS.

“The schedule for the balance of the season only has one more stand-alone Sunday fixture,” O’Rourke explained. “All others are double headers as far as broadcast is concerned. Balancing the crowd focus and the broadcast opportunities, we believe the slightly earlier start will optimise both for what is always one of the most anticipated games of the season.”
