With our annual Westfield Parramatta team appearance just around the corner, captain Nikolai Topor-Stanley says the entire club is looking forward to the event.

All four Wanderers teams will be making an appearance this Thursday 22 January in a unique experience for fans to meet their heroes and maybe even get something signed.

“I’m looking forward to a big crowd turning up at Westfield in Parramatta; I’ve been to this event the past two years and it’s an exciting day for both fans and players,” explained Topor-Stanley.

“To be there as a team and get to experience the noise and energy of the fans outside of a match day is something very special.

With a chance for the first 200 people lined-up to meet the players and get one item signed, Topor-Stanley said it’s an important day for everyone involved.

“Events like this help the Wanderers become more than just a football club. As players we represent the entire region on the pitch, not just ourselves, so it’s important to connect with the community and be able to engage with our fans.

It’s also a chance for fans to be introduced to the new boys who joined during the Asian Cup break.

“We’ve had a few new boys join us in January and this event will be their first time experiencing our fans. I’ve told a couple of them about the reception we got here in the first two years and I think they’re looking forward to seeing it themselves.

The Foxtel Youth League, Westfield W-League and Powerchair teams will begin to arrive at 2pm with the Hyundai A-League squad arriving at 3:30pm.

Dicko will MC the event and there will be an exclusive with the ACL Champions T-shirt available at $40 (with further discounts for Members).

Games and activities will be set-up from 9:30am.
