Nathan Berthaly, affectionately known as Nato, will be deeply missed by the Western Sydney Community and all Wanderers members.
Nato was a foundation member and played a vital role in working with the Club in the formative years to develop the connection and understanding of active support. Nato was always there for anyone who supported the Wanderers and would always be the first supporter at the ground delivering flags and banners, working close with club officials and keeping everyone smiling and focussed on the positives.
Nato always stood up for the Club, stood up for the RBB, stood up for the Members, stood up for active support and stood up for Western Sydney – always with a calm comforting realistic approach that reflected the true leader he was.
He will be impossible to forget and his legacy will live on forever in the hearts of the players, staff and Members of the club.
Our deepest thoughts and condolences are with his family, friends and all who knew him.
