The Western Sydney Wanderers have today announced their first grade squad for the upcoming National Premier League 2 season.

The Wanderers have named a squad filled with local talent and will be looking to build on their results last season that saw them finish seventh on the ladder after winning 11 out of 26 matches.

The Red & Black come into the competition filled with confidence following their successful Foxtel Y-League campaign that saw them crowned as Champions for the very first time in the club’s history.

Arthur Diles will be at the helm of the first grade side, having previously led both the NPL 2 U20s, U18s and the Foxtel Y-League teams to silverware.

The squad sees majority of the Foxtel Y-League Championship winning team retained combined with a handful of players that have had Hyundai A-League experience.

The Western Sydney Wanderers will kick-off their season this Sunday against North Shore Mariners at 7:00pm at Sydney United Sports Centre.
