Western Sydney Wanderers players will be part of the largest exhibition ever at the 2017 Sydney Royal Easter Show run by Transport for NSW.

Located within the Home, Garden and Lifestyle pavilion and on Olympic Boulevard, show-goers will be provided with the opportunity to learn about some of Australia’s largest public transport and road projects, and the advancements of futuristic technology that will change the way people move across New South Wales.

Safety will also play a big part of the exhibit as the Centres for Roads and Maritime Safety return in a bid to highlight a future free of fatalities and serious injuries in and around the state’s roads and waterways.

Transport for NSW, Deputy Secretary Customer Services Tony Braxton-Smith said the organisation’s presence at this year’s Easter Show came at a time when unprecedented levels of transport related activity was going on in communities right across New South Wales.

“As we build Tomorrow’s Sydney, our commitment to keeping people well informed of the progress and how it might impact them now and into the future was an important part of our community engagement process,

“Show-goers will be able to strap on a pair of virtual reality goggles and get a glimpse what will become everyday modes of transport for millions – the CBD and South East Light Rail, Parramatta Light Rail and Sydney Metro projects,” said Mr Braxton-Smith.
