The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers were out in the community today at the Bidwill Blokes Breakfast held at Chifley College, Bidwill Campus.

The breakfast was put together to both promote a healthy lifestyle for the male students but also give an opportunity to students to discuss with community leaders about future career prospects.

With the Hyundai A-League squad members away on a pre-season camp it was National Youth League players Daniel Barac and Stjepan Paric who attended the event. The Wanderers were there promoting the club as well as taking part in 3-on-3 matches and a penalty shoot-out.

Physical Education Teacher Josh Hunter, from Chifley College, was impressed with how the event had come together and the Wanderers involvement.

“We-ve established this event so the male students at our school have the opportunity to interact with figures that are prominent within our local community,” he said. “It-s about showing the students who the positive role models are in our region and how they can work together.

“It-s been a successful day and seeing the Wanderers club here mixing it with the Police, Fire Department, fitness groups, music entities and other sporting organisations has been of real benefit.”
