Wanderers Lachlan Scott and Mario Shabow visited Ashcroft High School on Wednesday afternoon to promote multiculturalism.
The visit to the Western Sydney school was part of the Multicultural CREST Program led by PCYC Liverpool.
Scott and Shabow participated in a Q&A session where students were asked a variety of questions about how it felt to be in an elite sporting environment everyday, what it takes to become a role model athlete and what it means to be a citizen in the community.
The students in the session were then divided into two opposing teams where they participated in a one-hour football session that encouraged leadership skills, team building, bonding excercises and gross motor skills.
The event was the first of many which the Western Sydney Wanderers will attend during the lead-up to their Harmony Day celebrations.
