The Western Sydney Wanderers are calling for all grassroots clubs in Western Sydney to have a White Ribbon match as part of White Ribbon night this July.

The Wanderers have been proud supporters of White Ribbon since the club’s inception and raise their voice every season, dedicating a home match to White Ribbon to raise awareness and support the fantastic work White Ribbon do in the local community.

White Ribbon is the world’s largest movement of men and boys working to end men’s violence against women and girls, promote gender equality and create a new vision of masculinity.

They focus on primary prevention by stopping violence before it starts.

Through education, awareness raising and creative campaigns, preventative programs, partnerships and political advocacy, White Ribbon Australia highlights the positive role men can play to stop violence against women and enables them to be part of this social change.

Sport is an important vehicle in spreading the message of White Ribbon and producing social change and the Wanderers are committed to supporting the campaign in several ways.

Holding a White Ribbon Match during White Ribbon night is a great way your team can stand up, speak out and act to end violence against women.
